M Hasnain & Co Accountants was founded in 1974. After consistent growth during the 1980's through to present day under Partnership of Mr M S Akhtar and Mr I M Khan, who took the company over in 1980, the company today enjoys a stable and loyal client base that has been built up over many years in professional practice.
M Hasnain & Co Accountants is a family owned practice employing up to 15 members of staff of varying Accountancy qualifications and levels. An ACCA recognised employer and training provider, M Hasnain & Co are proud of the team they have built up over the years of service, with many members of staff being employed for over 30 years.
Mr. M S Akhtar, Practice Principle; born and educated in Pakistan with a BA in Economics. After immigration to the UK in 1972, Mr. Akhtar has worked in various practice management positions before jointly taking over M Hasnain & Co in 1980. As well as building up the practice over the years, Mr. Akhtar has worked tirelessly for the community, dedicating time and resources to many worthwhile charities and organisations. Being the Chairman of the Confederation of Sunni Mosques, Midlands. As well as the Chairman of the management committee, Ghamkol Sharif Central Mosque, Birmingham which is one of the largest purpose built Mosques in Europe today. Mr Akhtar has achieved a lot for the community along with his fellow committee members, which will be enjoyed by many generations to come.
Mr. I M Khan, Practice Partner (Retired); Educated in Pakistan with a BCom in Economics. After immigration to the UK in the 1960's, alongside further study, Mr. Khan held management positions with various leading Accountancy firms in London. Mr. Khan jointly took over M Hasnain & Co In 1980 as the Senior Partner alongside Mr. Akhtar. He has worked tirelessly throughout his career assisting clients in all their affairs. After his retirement in 2003, Mr. Khan has retained a consultancy position within the firm and still has an involvement in the firm today.
Mr. Dennis C Thomas, Practice Manager; has been with the firm for over 30 years, qualified to ACCA and also FCCA level, He has been the registered Auditor of the firm, and has extensive experience in all fields of Accountancy and tax planning . A strong mentor for various members of staff, who have been training for and passed their professional qualifications throughout the many years of practice.
Mr. Kamran Saleem, Company Director; M Hasnain & Co Ltd T/A MHC FINANCE. After graduating from Aston University Business School in 2005, Kamran joined the family firm, setting up MHC Finance as a separate trading entity. To date, the company has secured finance for tens of millions of pounds worth of Asset, Plant and Vehicle purchases for the firm's private and corporate clients nationwide.
The company has gone on to take over a successful and well established transport company holding Government contracts, as well as project manage sales and investments for a new private cemetery site in the Midlands, which hit the national press and regional news channels on launch. Many spin off projects and products are due for launch in the coming years which will no doubt see the company gain strength and value for the group as a whole.
